Mercy Memorial Welcomes New Spine Surgeon
Ardmore — Dereck Peery, D.O., orthopedic spine
surgeon, is the newest member to join the Bone and Joint Clinic.
A native to the area, Dr. Peery grew up in Dickson
and recently moved back to Ardmore. He completed his residency at
Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, and his fellowship in orthopedic
spine surgery at Mount Carmel New Albany Surgical Hospital in New
Albany, Ohio. He moved to Ardmore from Hilliard, Ohio.
“We are extremely pleased to welcome Dr. Peery to
Mercy Memorial,” said Bob Thompson, Mercy Memorial’s president and CEO.
“His specialized background will allow us to expand our services to
provide spine surgery right here in southern Oklahoma.”
Dr. Peery is board certified by the American
Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is a member of the American
Osteopathic Association and North American Spine Society. He is joining
orthopedic surgeons J. Keith Troop, M.D., Richard Greisman, M.D., and
Jeff Cumming, M.D. at the Bone and Joint Clinic in Ardmore.
“Doctors Greisman, Cumming, and I are pleased to add
Dr. Peery to our practice,” said Troop. “He will be a tremendous asset
to the community.”
