Mercy Memorial Foundation Names New Director
Ardmore — André G. Moore has been named the new executive director of
the Mercy Memorial Health Center Foundation.
Moore has been very active in the Ardmore community since he moved to
the area in 1976. He served as the director of cardiopulmonary services
at Memorial Hospital for 13 years. He has served on numerous boards,
including those for the Ardmore Higher Education Center, Ardmore
Development Authority and the Southern Oklahoma Memorial Foundation. In
1989, he opened his own business and ran Arbuckle Medical Supply in
Ardmore through December of 2007.
Moore earned his Bachelor of Science degree in education from
Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and his certification in
cardiorespiratory sciences from the University of Oklahoma Health
Sciences Center in Oklahoma City.
“My goal is to enhance the mission, growth and development of the
Mercy Memorial Health Center Foundation,” said Moore. “This community
has shown how important it is to have a quality healthcare facility
through its incredible gifts and donations.”
“The Mercy Memorial Health Center Foundation Board of Directors is
very pleased that André will serve as the new executive director,” said
John Kriet, Foundation board president. “His experience in healthcare,
coupled with his tenure and service in the Ardmore area will be a
winning combination for the Foundation.”
Trish Long, outgoing director for the Mercy Memorial Health Center
Foundation, is now the executive director of business development,
physician recruitment and the Southern Oklahoma Physician/Hospital
Organization. With over 25 years of experience in healthcare, and 11
years at Mercy Memorial, Long will support physician services as well as
oversee the recruitment of new physicians to the Ardmore area.
“I am very excited about my new role,” said Long. “Recruiting new
physicians and helping them build their practices is very challenging. I
have worked with physicians for many years and look forward to bringing
several more to the Ardmore area over the next few years.”

and Trish bring to Mercy Memorial,” said Bobby G. Thompson, president
and CEO of Mercy Memorial.
