Mercy Clinic Welcomes Two New Doctors to its New Digs
Edmond — Mercy Health Edmond Santa Fe clinic adds
two new doctors this November to a team of some 40 internal medicine,
family medicine and pediatric physicians who serve Mercy Health
Network’s seven metro area clinics.
“Besides adding two new physicians to the Edmond
Santa Fe clinic, we recently moved from a 2,500-square-foot clinic into
a brand new building with 12,000 square feet,” said James Dixson, M.D.,
the first physician to join the Mercy network in 1990 and today
president of Mercy Health Network. “We now have a well child area, as
well as a separate sick child area, and a new digital x-ray machine that
provides the very best imaging.”
A team of six physicians—formerly four—offers
pediatric, internal medicine and family practice care. Jesse Campbell,
M.D., an internal medicine/pediatrics physician, and Bettina Veronneau,
M.D., a family medicine physician, joined the team this month at Mercy
Health Edmond Santa Fe.
Dr. Campbell received his medical degree from the
University of Oklahoma, and completed an internship and residency in
internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Oklahoma Heath
Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. He is also board certified in both
internal medicine and pediatrics.
Dr. Veronneau received her medical degree from the
University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada. She completed an internship
at both the University of Manitoba Affiliated Teaching Hospitals in
Winnipeg, and Canadian Forces Hospital Cold Lake in Medley, Alberta,
Canada.
“Mercy Health Network is a very strong physician
group that serves a six-county area,” said Dr. Dixson. “We are pleased
to add these two new physicians to our team.”
Same-day appointments are available. For more
