Mercy Names Paquin VP of Mission and
Ethics
Oklahoma City— Leo Paquin has been named Mercy
Health Center’s vice president of mission and ethics.

Paquin joins Mercy from Catholic Charities in
Portland, Maine, where he served as the director of mission integration.
For more than 20 years, Paquin has worked in Catholic social services,
as well as taught theology to his local parish, diocesan and area
colleges.
Paquin received his bachelor’s in systematic
theology from Saint Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire, a
master’s in systematic theology from Boston College in Chestnut Hill,
Massachusetts, and a doctorate in practical theology from Bangor
Theological Seminary in Bangor, Maine. From 1996 to 2000, Paquin served
as a mediator for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Portland Office of Due
Process.
“Leo will be a great addition to our team,” said
Mike Packnett, president and CEO of Mercy Health System of Oklahoma. “He
has had extensive experience regionally and nationally with charities,
and has served as a counselor to homeless families and the
developmentally disabled. He will be very valuable to our Mercy team.”
Paquin recently moved to Oklahoma City with his
wife, Rita, and their three children. In his spare time, Paquin enjoys
hiking, bicycling, gardening and woodworking.
