Mercy Welcomes New Family Nurse Practitioner

Courtney Weaver Hammond, ARNP, MSN, a family nurse
practitioner, is the newest member to join the team at Mercy Health
Edmond Westbrook.
“From a very early age, I realized health care was my calling and
passion,” said Hammond. “I want to ensure that every patient receives
not only quality care, but care that attends to their personal values
and needs. Every patient has their own unique set of needs and I strive
to meet them. I also aim to keep my patients up-to-date on the latest
research. It’s a blessing and privilege to serve patients and their
families.” Hammond received her bachelor’s from The University of
Oklahoma and a master’s of science in nursing from Vanderbilt University
in Nashville, Tennessee. Hammond has served in many roles at both Mercy
Health Center and Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital including a pediatric
post anesthesia care unit critical care registered nurse, charge nurse
and an intensive care unit nurse.
Mercy Health Edmond Westbrook is located at 1208 W. 15th Street in
Edmond. Clinic hours are Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and
