Mercy Canadian County Welcomes New Doc

Oklahoma CityBrendon McCollom, D.O., a family medicine physician, is the newest member to join Mercy Health Canadian County in Yukon.

Dr. McCollom received his medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He also completed a family practice residency and internship at St. Anthony’s in Oklahoma City. He is board certified in family medicine.

“By practicing family medicine, I have the opportunity to treat the entire family—everyone from infants to the elderly and everyone in between, including women, men and athletes who need sports medicine,” said Dr. McCollom. “I partner with my patients to design a clear path to their healthcare goals. I believe God has called me to provide not only exceptional care, but compassionate care. The only way I achieve my goals is if I first achieve my patients’ goals.” Mercy Health Canadian County is located at 520 S. Mustang Road in Yukon. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. To schedule an appointment, call (405) 936-5910.

Mercy Health Center, the first Magnet hospital in Oklahoma and among only 3 percent of hospitals in the nation to be awarded Magnet status, is a member of Mercy Health System of Oklahoma and the Sisters of Mercy Health System. Magnet-designated facilities: report higher patient satisfaction rates, deliver better patient outcomes, provide more nursing care at the bedside of patients and consistently outperform non-magnet organizations.
