Mercy Health North May Welcomes New Physician

Oklahoma CityShu-Ming Wang, M.D., a family medicine physician, is the newest member to join the team at Mercy Health North May.

Dr. Wang received her medical degree from The University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Washington, and completed a family practice residency at the University of Rochester in New York. In 1992, Dr. Wang was the chief resident and clinical fellow at the University of Rochester. Since 1999, Dr. Wang has practiced medicine in Federal Way, Washington. She is board certified in family medicine.

“Ever since I was a little girl, I wanted to be a doctor,” said Dr. Wang. “Coming from a different country as a young child taught me the importance of hard work and adaptability. I have been practicing family medicine for 15 years. I enjoy taking care of each person, as well as the whole family. My goal is to work with my patients as a team to enable better health. I believe that each patient should walk out of my office feeling like they have been treated with care, respect and empathy.”

Mercy Health North May is located at 9100 N. May in the St. Martin complex. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. To schedule an appointment, call (405) 840-4456.
