Mercy Health North May Welcomes New Physician
Oklahoma City—Muzaffar M. Saleemi, M.D., a family
medicine physician, is the newest member to join the team at Mercy
Health North May.
Dr. Saleemi received his medical degree from Allama
Iqbal Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan, and completed a family
practice residency at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica, New York.
Dr. Saleemi is also board certified in family medicine. His special
interests include: type 2 diabetes, asthma, hypertension and depression.
“I always knew I wanted to be a physician because I
wanted to lessen the pain and suffering of people,” said Dr. Saleemi.
“The best part of my job is the partnership with my patients, focusing
together on prevention and healthy living. When a patient leaves my
office, I want them to walk away knowing that I listen to them and
respect them. I believe in quality healthcare with dignity and
compassion. It’s the cornerstone of my practice.”
Mercy Health North May is located at 9100 N. May in
the St. Martin complex. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to
