Mercy Welcomes Two New Edmond Clinicians

Edmond — Shannon Medley, PA-C, and Meghan Nelson, PA-C, both certified physician assistants, are the newest members to join the team at Mercy Health Edmond Westbrook.

Medley, of Oklahoma City, received both her bachelor’s degree and master’s from the University of Oklahoma. Nelson, of Edmond, received her bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University and a master’s from the University of Oklahoma.

“My goal as a physician assistant is to give patients my undivided attention and address any concerns they have,” said Medley. “And because nutrition is such an important part of good health, my background as a clinical dietician is a plus.”

Nelson echoes this dedication to serving the Edmond community.

“Science and medicine have always interested me,” said Meghan Nelson. “And each patient is a unique individual with specific physical, emotional and spiritual needs. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve my patients.”

Medley and Nelson join physicians Frank Davis, M.D., Craig Evans, M.D., and Terrill Hulson, M.D., along with Courtney Hammond, ARNP, MSN, and Christina Hiersche, PA-C. Mercy’s team is focused on family medicine, which means they care for the whole family.

Mercy Health Edmond Westbrook is located at 1208 W. 15th St. in Edmond. Clinic hours are Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. to noon. To schedule an appointment, call (405) 340-8893. Same-day appointments are available.
