Take the 2006 Mercy Health Challenge

Oklahoma City — Take the Mercy Health Challenge and find out how you can eat healthier, feel better, and save valuable time by doing exercises more efficiently.

Join Mercy and make some lifestyle changes beginning Monday, January 23, through February 28. Every Monday for six weeks, participants will meet from noon to 12:30 p.m. at Mercy to find out the healthiest quick and easy slow cooker favorites, a personalized fitness plan, dining out meal solutions, whole grain recipes and the best plan for strength training.

“It’s critical that we begin to eat healthier foods and exercise smarter,” said Lori Manning, Mercy dietitian. “It’s not about our waistlines. It’s about feeling better, having more energy and finding a better balance in life.”

The six-week program will be held in Mercy’s conference center. Program costs $30 per person. For more information or to register, call 752-3087.

Mercy Health Center, the only Magnet hospital in Oklahoma and among only 2 percent of hospitals in the nation to be awarded Magnet status, is a member of Mercy Health System of Oklahoma and the Sisters of Mercy Health System. Magnet-designated facilities: report higher patient satisfaction rates, deliver better patient outcomes, provide more nursing care at the bedside of patients and consistently outperform non-magnet organizations.
