Since 1970, hospital visitors have experienced the friendly faces and encouraging words of Mercy Memorial volunteers - people from all walks of life whose mission is to serve others. 

Today, more than 75 volunteers and 21 volunteens do a variety of work around the hospital on a daily basis. 

Besides operating the gift shop, volunteers also staff the information desks for the surgery and testing centers in the main entrance, as well as assist with numerous special projects and community programs.
