Mercy Memorial's visiting hours are from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. in all but a few
patient areas. Other visits may be arranged according to patient wishes.
Behavioral
Medicine and Critical Care areas have specific visiting hours to allow patients to get as
much rest as possible and speed their recovery.

Behavioral Medicine visiting hours are Saturday and Sunday from 2:00 -
4:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Children under age 14 are not permitted in ICU.
Guidelines
To support quality care for patients, visitors are asked to observe a
few guidelines:

Mercy
Memorial is a smoke-free facility. Visitors may not smoke in patient
rooms or
near building entrances.

Visitors
should dress appropriately and must wear a shirt and shoes.

The
number of visitors in a patient's room is restricted by the location
of the room. Please check with the nurse and observe the limit.

Visitors
with colds, sore throats or any contagious disease should not visit
patients.

Visits
should be kept short.

Visitors
should maintain a quiet environment and avoid unnecessary noise.

Visitors
may be asked to leave the room during tests or treatment, or when the
physician or nurse needs to see the patient.

should not bring food or beverages to patients unless approved by your
doctor or nurse.
