The goal of Admissions/Registration is to provide exceptional service to our customers by carefully and thoroughly gathering demographic and financial information to better serve our customer and our healthcare facility in a professional manner.

Registration is presently accomplished though three separate physical areas within Mercy Memorial Health Center. Inpatient Admissions is located inside the main entrance, Outpatient Registration is located inside the entrance of the Diagnostic Center and the Emergency Room registration area is located in the Emergency Room.

The training of these three departments is under the supervision of the main registration area. The Registration Department provides a full range of registration services to inpatients, outpatients, families, and coordinating hospital departments. The Admissions Department provides service Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The Outpatient Registration Department provides service Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. The registration area in the Emergency Room provides services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The registration processes are provided to all patients requiring registration into Mercy Memorial Health Center. Registration staff coordinates with physicians and their offices, insurance companies, utilization management companies, patients and their families, nursing, and other hospital departments as appropriate.
