Research

Mercy NeuroScience Institute leads the state in the latest MS research and clinical trials.

Quality of life
The MS Center is participating in a national study to determine how likely patients are continue with treatment if injecting their medication is required.

Minimizing side effects
Tests are currently underway to study medications that could reduce potential reactions to MS drug therapy.

Combination therapy
As with many medical conditions, using more than one medication can improve disease control. Research is evaluating the effect of combining an immunomodulator with one or two immunosupressants.

A team of researchers is evaluating immunomodulators on the market to determine the advantages of each one.
