Why should accreditation and licensure be important to you?

Accreditation and licensure means a hospital has met or exceeded required standards of care. They have filed detailed documentation and passed difficult site visits from peer review committees or members of governing organizations. Accreditation and licensure is generally accepted as a good indication of level of care and ethical business practices.

Mercy Health Center is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. We encourage you to report any safety or quality concerns to Mercy Health Center Quality Management Department  (405) 752-3607.

We value your patronage and encourage contact with Mercy Health Center Patient Relations so that our management can address your concerns. Any safety or quality concerns, which have not been addressed by hospital management, may be reported directly to the Joint Commission:

Mercy Health Center encourages the reporting of quality of care and patient safety concerns to Quality Management Department at (405) 752-3607. Any employee that has concerns about safety or quality of care provided at Mercy Health Center that have not been addressed may report these concerns to the Joint Commission without fear of disciplinary actions against them.

This notice is posted in accordance with the Joint Commission’s requirements.
