Appointments - With
Mercy Central, finding the physician you need or scheduling an appointment
couldn't be easier. Our staff can help assess your needs, advise you about
the right physician, arrange your appointment and provide directions to our
locations. Just call 405-752-3600 or toll free 1-800-800-2390.
Escorts - For those with special needs, a
hospital escort is available to help you. Patients with visual impairment,
who use wheelchairs or who have difficulty walking can ask for help in any
patient care area or at the Information Desks. There is no charge for this
service.
Interpreters - Mercy registration co-workers or
your nurse can arrange for a foreign language interpreter Normally
there is no cost for this service.
Chapel - The chapel is located on the main floor
of the hospital near the Information Desk. The Mercy Chapel is open 24 hours
a day, seven days a week and is available to people of all faiths.
Chaplains - Chaplains are available to offer
spiritual and emotional support to patients and visitors. Call 752-3776
or dial the hospital operator to get in touch with a chaplain anytime,
day or night.
Care Management - Social workers are available to
help patients and family members deal with financial, social and emotional
problems that relate to illness or hospitalization, including planning for
long-term illnesses and rehabilitation. If you'd like to speak with a social
worker, please ask your nurse and she will schedule that service for you.
