A distinguishing characteristic of Mercy Health Center is its emphasis on healthcare as a ministry of the Sisters of Mercy, long known for their spirit of compassion and hospitality for all.

That ministry has grown out of the devotion of Catherine McAuley, foundress of the Sisters of Mercy, and displays itself in our heritage, our pastoral care services, our commitment as co-workers and our ministry in the community.

Our Mission:

Mercy Health Center is rooted in the mission of Jesus and the healing ministry of the church, being faithful to Catherine McAuley's service tradition.

This tradition is marked by the values of justice, excellence, stewardship and respect for the dignity of each person.

Mercy Health Center implements and advocates for innovative health and social services to improve the health and quality of life of communities served, with particular concern for people who are economically poor.
